Travel Bucket List

Our bucket list is constantly expanding and contracting.  We add something, we check something off, and in between we dream about where we will go next.

Our thinking is that we will mix in seeing things around the United States with harder, more adventurous travel, after all, we are not getting any younger.  The more physically taxing trips are by necessity rising to the top of the list.  There will be a point where 12- or 24-hour layovers will be too much.  BUT, we aren’t there yet! In our minds we are still in our 30’s and you are only as young as you feel, right?

We want to go to all fifty of the United States, tour each of the Presidential Libraries, explore the U.S. National Parks, and visit locations significant to the civil rights movement.

  • Holocaust Death Camps (Carla has been to Auschwitz)

  • Visit the bamboo forest in Japan
  • Caspian Sea (this one probably won’t happen but I read about it in a book once and I can’t get it out of my mind)
  • Buy a RTW ticket and use it!
